NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Anisotropic excitation of surface plasmon polaritons on a metal film by a scattering-type scanning near-field microscope with a non-rotationally-symmetric probe tip

open access: yesNanophotonics, 2018
We investigated the excitation of surface plasmon polaritons on gold films with the metallized probe tip of a scattering-type scanning near-field optical microscope (s-SNOM). The emission of the polaritons from the tip, illuminated by near-infrared laser

Volumetric Imaging and Characterization of Focusing Waveguide Grating Couplers

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
Volumetric imaging of focusing waveguide grating coupler emission with high spatial resolution in the visible ( ${{\lambda \,= \,637.3\,\text{nm}}}$) is demonstrated using a scanning near-field optical microscope with long z-axis travel range.

Biodegradable and Recyclable Luminescent Mixed‐Matrix‐Membranes, Hydrogels, and Cryogels based on Nanoscale Metal‐Organic Frameworks and Biopolymers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The study presents biodegradable and recyclable mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs), hydrogels, and cryogels using luminescent nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (nMOFs) and biopolymers. These bio‐nMOF‐MMMs combine europium‐based nMOFs as probes for the status of the materials with the biopolymers agar and gelatine and present alternatives to conventional ...

Far-field disentanglement of modes in hybrid plasmonic-photonic crystals by fluorescence nano-reporters

open access: yesNanophotonics, 2013
In this paper, the resonance modes exhibited by a hybrid nanostructure have been disentangled in the far-field owing to narrow-band fluorescence nano-reporters.

Modulating Two‐Photon Absorption in a Pyrene‐Based MOF Series: An In‐Depth Investigation of Structure–Property Relationships

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates H4TBAPy‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) ‐ NU‐1000, NU‐901, SrTBAPy, and BaTBAPy ‐ for multiphoton absorption (MPA) performance. It observes topology‐dependent variations in the 2PA cross‐section, with BaTBAPy exhibiting the highest activity.

Tip-enhanced Raman scattering of glucose molecules

open access: yesOpto-Electronic Science
Glucose molecules are of great significance being one of the most important molecules in metabolic chain. However, due to the small Raman scattering cross-section and weak/non-adsorption on bare metals, accurately obtaining their "fingerprint information"

Ultrafast terahertz scattering scanning near-field optical microscope

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica
Terahertz (THz) time-domain spectroscopy and imaging techniques on a nanoscale are crucial for material research, device detection, and others. However, traditional far-field THz time-domain spectroscopy faces inherent diffraction limitations, which limits the applications of carrier dynamics analysis that require femtosecond time resolution and ...
