Abstract Background A routine baseline echocardiogram is often obtained prior to anthracycline administration in children with cancer. The utility of baseline echocardiogram is unclear in patients with standard risk B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (SR B‐ALL) as their anthracycline cumulative dose is low.

The Short Baseline Near Detector [PDF]
SBND (Short-Baseline Near Detector) is a 112-ton liquid argon TPC neutrino detector under construction in the Fermilab Booster Neutrino Beam. Together with MicroBooNE and ICARUS-T600 detectors, SBND will search for short baseline neutrino oscillations in the 1 eV$^{2}$ mass range. SBND will also perform detailed studies of the physics of neutrino-argon

Adaptive near maximum likelihood detector
This paper presents a new detector named adaptive near maximum likelihood detector which combines pseudobinary and pseudoquaternary near maximum likelihood detection processes. Simulation results show that the performance of adaptive near maximum likelihood detector is better than the performance of pseudobinary near maximum likelihood detector but ...

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Outcomes for pediatric relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain dismal. CPX‐351, a liposomal formulation of cytarabine and daunorubicin, may have less off‐target toxicities than traditional chemotherapies and has shown improved outcomes for adults with newly diagnosed therapy‐related AML.

A Hybrid Multiuser Detector Based on MMSE and AFSA for TDRS System Forward Link
This study mainly focuses on multiuser detection in tracking and data relay satellite (TDRS) system forward link. Minimum mean square error (MMSE) is a low complexity multiuser detection method, but MMSE detector cannot achieve satisfactory bit error ...

ABSTRACT Background Osteonecrosis (ON) is a debilitating complication of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) therapy. While numerous studies have explored its incidence and associated risk factors, investigations using large‐scale cohorts remain important to characterize ON across heterogeneous populations.

The Long-Baseline Neutrino Experiment (LBNE) is a next generation neutrino oscillation experiment currently proposed for construction in the United States with the main goal of studying muon (anti)neutrinos oscillations into electron (anti)neutrinos over a distance greater than 1000 km and over a wide range of neutrino energies.

ABSTRACT Background Transfusion‐related iron overload (TRIO) is a late effect of therapy impacting survivors of childhood cancer and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) who receive frequent packed red blood cell (pRBC) transfusions. Surprisingly, there are no accepted guidelines to assist providers in identifying and treating at‐risk ...
