An experimental and analytical investigation was conducted on reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened in flexure using the near-surface mounted carbon-fiber-reinforced polymers (NSM-CFRPs) technique. A total of 11 full-scale RC rectangular beams were cast and tested under a monotonic three-point bending test, up to failure.

Flexural response of GFRP RC beams strengthened with side and bottom NSM GFRP bars
This study exhibits the bending performance of reinforced concrete (RC) beams with glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) rods. The beams were strengthened with the bottom or side near surface mounted (BNSM or SNSM) methods. Applying BNSM strengthening to

Strengthening Reinforced Beams Subjected to Pure Torsion by Near Surface Mounted Rebars
This paper investigates the possibility of strengthening reinforced concrete beams under pure torsion loadings. The torsional behavior of strengthened beams with near-surface mounted steel and CFRP bars was investigated and verified against experimental ...

Engineered Foxp1high Exosomes Ameliorates Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
This study presents a dual‐engineering strategy combining mesenchymal stem cell aggregation and Foxp1 overexpression to generate Foxp1high aggregation exosomes with enhanced immunomodulatory properties. These engineered exosomes exhibit immune organ targeting and superior efficacy in systemic lupus erythematosus treatment by promoting Treg ...
