Morphoevolutive drivers on a rapidly‐evolving soft rocky cliff and connected shore platform system

open access: yesEarth Surface Processes and Landforms, Volume 50, Issue 8, 30 June 2025.
A multi‐source approach combining UAV surveys, optical satellite images and meteo‐marine data identifies key morphoevolutive drivers on a soft rocky cliff system. Results highlight the role of lithology and structure as primary controls, with marine and rainfall forcing acting as preparatory agents in a rapidly evolving coastal landscape.

miRNA‐29 regulates epidermal and mesenchymal functions in skin repair

open access: yesFEBS Letters, Volume 599, Issue 12, Page 1795-1817, June 2025.
miRNA‐29 inhibits cell‐to‐cell and cell‐to‐matrix adhesion by silencing mRNA targets. Adhesion is controlled by complex interactions between many types of molecules coded by mRNAs. This is crucial for keeping together the layers of the skin and for regenerating the skin after wounding.

AN INVESTIGATION INTO GEOPOLYMER ADHESIVE AS A VIABLE SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL FOR NSM STRENGTHENING OF RC BEAMS IN SHEAR

open access: yesMağallaẗ Al-kūfaẗ Al-handasiyyaẗ
This paper aims to investigate the performance of geopolymer adhesive (GPA) as a substitute for epoxy in the near-surface-mounted (NSM) technique to enhance the shear strength of reinforced concrete (RC) beams. Seven RC beams of 1200 mm in length, 120 mm

Review on NSM-CFRP Method for Enhancing Shear Capacity in Reinforced Concrete Deep Beams [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The demand for improved strengthening techniques for current concrete structures is on the rise. Many structures that will still be in use two decades from now have already been constructed.
