Drug‐Induced Raynaud's Phenomenon and Underlying Mechanism: A Disproportionality Analysis From the World Health Organization Pharmacovigilance Database

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Volume 78, Issue 4, Page 985-992, April 2026.
Objectives The aim of this study is to generate hypotheses about unknown drugs associated with the onset or worsening of Raynaud's phenomenon (RP) and to explore their potential pathophysiologic mechanisms through a mixed disproportionality/clustering analysis from the World Health Organization (WHO) pharmacovigilance database.

HIGH SELECTIVE LONG-ACTING Β1-BLOCKER WITH A VASODILATING EFFECT NEBIVOLOL IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE

open access: yesРациональная фармакотерапия в кардиологии, 2015
Review is devoted to the role of modern beta-blocker nebivolol in the treatment of stable ischemic heart disease (IHD). The mode of nebivolol anti-ischemic activity is considered, as well as its use particularities in IHD patients with different ...

Nebivolol-induced gynecomastia

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics, 2015
Adverse drug reactions play a substantial role in the etiology of gynecomastia. Gynecomastia as an adverse drug reaction, related to some cardiovascular drugs, has been reported in literature. Nebivolol is a third generation beta-blocker, and gynecomastia as an adverse effect on the consumption of this drug has not been reported in any article yet.

Hepatotoxicity Associated with Labetalol Use: A Case Report with Systematic Review and Disproportionality Analysis Using FAERS

open access: yesThe Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 66, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Labetalol is widely prescribed as a first‐line antihypertensive in pregnancy; however, rare but potentially severe idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity has been reported, with a disproportionately strong reporting signal for liver injury relative to other β‐blockers.

Effects of D-nebivolol and L-nebivolol on left ventricular systolic and diastolic function: comparison with D-L-nebivolol and atenolol.

open access: yes, 1993
(D-L) Nebivolol is a new beta 1-selective adrenoceptor blocker which in normal individuals preserves rest and exercise hemodynamics. We assessed the effects of the enantiomers (L- and D-nebivolol) on left ventricular (LV) systolic and diastolic function ...

Cancer Neuroscience: Innovative Conception and Emerging Strategy of Therapy

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
In this review, we summarize nerve–cancer interactions and conclude two additional interactions, “perineural invasion” and “neuro‐microbic‐oncology.” Emphasizing the important role of nerves in tumor progression. The nervous system also contributes to the development of cancer comorbidities such as cancer depression and cognitive dysfunction.

Severe Hypertension and Hematologic Abnormalities in Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum: A Pediatric Case Report

open access: yesThe Journal of Clinical Hypertension, Volume 28, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by pathogenic variants in ABCC6, leading to progressive calcification of elastic fibers. Although PXE typically presents in adolescence with dermatologic or ocular manifestations, early vascular involvement, including pediatric hypertension, is increasingly recognized.

Effects of nebivolol on human platelet aggregation.

open access: yes, 2001
It has been documented that beta-adrenergic antagonists can influence platelet aggregation by a mechanism independent of their ability to antagonize beta-adrenoceptors.
