Unveiling a Redox‐Assisted Electrocatalysis Approach for Efficient Azo‐Based High‐Energy Material Synthesis

open access: yesSusMat, EarlyView.
A redox‐assisted electrocatalysis strategy is proposed for efficient synthesis of azo‐based energetic material 3,3′‐diamino‐4,4′‐azofurazan (DAAzF). The well‐designed Ni‒Co3O4@CC catalyst enables high‐efficiency electro‐oxidation of DAF and cyclic regeneration of Ce3+/Ce4+ redox pair.

Dark matter production from cosmic necklaces

open access: yes
Cosmic strings have gained a great interest, since they are formed in a large class of brane inflationary models. The most interesting story is that cosmic strings in brane models are distinguished in future cosmological observations.

Dusky grouse seasonal resource selection in the Great Basin isolated mountain ranges of Nevada, USA

open access: yesWildlife Biology, EarlyView.
Dusky grouse Dendragapus obscurus are a montane forest grouse species with a paucity of information regarding their temporal and spatial resource use during critical times of high mortality and reproductive output. This lack of vital data may leave dusky grouse at risk of sub‐optimal management in many areas of their distribution, especially in the ...

Primordial black holes from cosmic necklaces

open access: yes
Cosmic necklaces are hybrid topological defects consisting of monopoles and strings. We argue that primordial black holes(PBHs) may have formed from loops of the necklaces, if there exist stable winding states, such as coils and cycloops.

Assessing radio transmitter weight effect and evaluation of northern bobwhite chick survival in coastal North Carolina

open access: yesWildlife Society Bulletin, EarlyView.
Abstract Studies on the earliest life stages are essential to our ecological understanding of avian demography; however, monitoring technologies that allow tracking of small birds are still limited in a variety of ways. One critical limitation, until recently, has been the development of methods for attaching transmitters to young birds with precocial ...

Refined counting of necklaces in one-loop N = 4 $$ \mathcal{N}=4 $$ SYM

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We compute the grand partition function of N = 4 $$ \mathcal{N}=4 $$ SYM at one-loop in the SU(2) sector with general chemical potentials, extending the results of Pólya’s theorem.

Challenging Business Schools Through Subversive Performativity: The Potential of Art‐based Pedagogies

open access: yesBritish Journal of Management, EarlyView.
Abstract Business schools are often criticized for reproducing growth‐oriented norms, but alternative pedagogies remain difficult to normalize. Drawing on Butler's theory of subversive performativity, this study examines how art‐based pedagogy enables academics to challenge growth logics in business schools by transforming their identities over time ...
