Effect of electronic interactions on the persistent current in one-dimensional disordered rings
The persistent current is here studied in one-dimensional disordered rings that contain interacting electrons. We used the density matrix renormalization group algorithms in order to compute the stiffness, a measure that gives the magnitude of the ...

Rheocasting versus Die Casting: An Insight into the Low‐Cycle Fatigue Behavior of AlSi7Mg0.6
The study compares rheocast lightweight components with high‐pressure die cast materials regarding microstructure and fatigue behavior. Rheocast process offers higher efficiency due to lower casting temperatures. Despite some microstructural differences, both processes show similar strengths (yield strength 125 MPa, tensile strength 240 MPa).

Equivalent Linearization and Parameter Optimization of the Negative Stiffness Bistable Damper
The negative stiffness bistable damper (NSBD) was proposed to suppress structural dynamic responses in our previous study. The vibration mitigation performance of the NSBD is influenced by its design parameters, including negative stiffness, cubic ...

Hingeless helicopter rotor with improved stability [PDF]
Improved stability was provided in a hingeless helicopter rotor by inclining the principal elastic flexural axes and coupling pitching of the rotor blade with the lead-lag bending of the blade.
