A Section 110 archaeological characterization inventory of the Belted Range was conducted for Nellis Air Force Base by Far Western in the latter half of 2010. The focus of the study was on identifying patterning that could inform current research on the prehistoric exploitation of singleleaf pinyon.

A Field Test of the Traveler-Processor Model on the South Range, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada
2001A cultural resources inventory of areas in the Spotted Range, Indian Springs Valley, and Three Lakes Valley in the South Range of the Nevada Test and Training Range was conducted in accordance with sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Ten prehistoric archaeological sites were recorded.

The primary intent of this Air Force project is to develop an airfield within the existing Range 74 C. Possible uses of this airfield might include landing aircraft or air to ground weapons testing. This proposed area is easily accessed by existing dirt roads. The project area will be approximately three miles long and half mile wide.

Cultural resources surveys of six areas on the north and south ranges of Nellis Air Force Base scheduled to be impacted by construction and/or mission related activities. Fourteen previously unrecorded archaeological sites were found during the surveys. Twelve of the sites were isolates or scatters of a few flakes and were collected.

1995Thirteen former Weapon Storage Areas (WSAs) were built between 1948 and 1956 for the storage, maintenance, and operational read iness of the nuclear weapon stockpile. The former WSAs were operated under joint Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) and Department of Defense agreements.

Inventory of Nellis Air Force Base Water Well Annex, South 42 Acres, Clark County, Nevada
2002Nellis Air Force Base (NAFB) proposes to release 42 acres of land in north Las Vegas Valley to private developers. Because the area surrounding the project area is 100% developed, the APE is considered to be the project area.
