Phytoparasitic nematode surveys of arkansas cotton fields, 1986-1988.

open access: yesJournal of nematology, 2011
Surveys from 1986 to 1988 identified 22 phytoparasitic nematode species in Arkansas cotton fields. Meloidogyne spp. was found in ca. 15% of the fields sampled. Of these samples ca. 33% were found to have a population density of 106/100 cm(3) of soil or more.

Caractérisation du pouvoir pathogène et de la biodiversité de plusieurs populations de nématodes apparentés à Pratylenchus coffeae sur caféiers (Coffeae sp.) et bananiers (Musa sp.) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
The specific characterization of nematodes, like all other plant pests, is a major stake to develop efficient and durable control strategies. Recent studies showed that P.

PHYTOPARASITIC NEMATODES OF THREE ENEGRY CROPS FOR BIOFUEL PRODUCTION

open access: yesBiological Systems: Theory and Innovation
The literature review focuses on a comprehensive analysis of scientific research aimed at studying the interaction of phytoparasitic nematodes with energy crops such as Miscanthus, Jerusalem artichoke, and paulownia, as well as examining the factors influencing the spread of these nematodes in cultivation systems of three biofuel crops: giant ...

Replacement Series: A Tool for Characterizing Competition between Phytoparasitic Nematodes.

open access: yesJournal of nematology, 2011
The replacement series approach was used to detect and define competition between Meloidogyne incognita (Mi) and Rotylenchulus reniformis (Rr) on soybean. In three greenhouse tests, soybean cv. Davis seedlings were inoculated with 1,000 vermiform nematodes in the following Mi:Rr ratios: 0:0, 100:0, 75:25, 50:50, 25:75, and 0:100.

The vertical and horizontal distribution of Mesocriconema xenoplax (Raski, 1952) in Trentino vineyards (Northern Italy) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Spatial distribution of Mesocriconema xenoplax (Raski, 1952) was investigated in vineyards in the Trentino region (Northern Italy). Horizontal distribution showed characteristic aggregate pattern for nematodes, correlated to the symptomatology of the ...

Phytoparasitic nematodes associated with three types of blueberries in arkansas.

open access: yesJournal of nematology, 2011
Research and commercial blueberry plantings were sampled in October 1991 to determine the population densities and species of phytoparasitic nematodes associated with rabbiteye (Vaccinium ashei), southern highbush (Vaccinium sp.), and highbusb (V. corymbosum) blueberry cultivars and the sod middles between the blueberry rows.
