Fungal parasitism of the cysts and eggs of the Globodera rostochiensis [PDF]
A survey of Globodera rostochiensis infested field in Velingrad region (South-West Bulgaria) revealed the spread of a black egg disease in the old cysts. The fungus mycelium infected the embryos within the egg shell.

Polyethylene Glycol-mediated Transformation of Drechmeria coniospora
Drechmeria coniospora is a nematophagous fungus and potential biocontrol agent. It belongs to the Ascomycota. It is related to Hirsutella minnesotensis, another nematophagous fungus but, phylogenetically, it is currently closest to the truffle parasite ...

Effects of osmotic and matric potential on radial growth and accumulation of endogenous reserves in three isolates of Pochonia chlamydosporia [PDF]
For the first time, the effects of varying osmotic and matric potential on fungal radial growth and accumulation of polyols were studied in three isolates of Pochonia chlamydosporia.

Fungal Formulation with the Nematophagous Fungus Pochonia Chlamydosporia
Healthy foods with high nutritional value and products free of chemical residues present a promising market. This has increased the challenges of worm control. Helminths are a production concern as they affect the general health, welfare and performance of the animals.

Comparative Genomic Analysis of Drechmeria coniospora Reveals Core and Specific Genetic Requirements for Fungal Endoparasitism of Nematodes. [PDF]
Drechmeria coniospora is an obligate fungal pathogen that infects nematodes via the adhesion of specialized spores to the host cuticle. D. coniospora is frequently found associated with Caenorhabditis elegans in environmental samples.

Methods for studying the nematophagous fungus Verticillium chlamydosporium in the root environment
In order to exploit fully the biocontrol potential of the nematophagous fungus Verticillium chlamydosporium, it is important to understand the ecology of the fungus in soil, and interactions with both plant and nematode hosts.
