The Legacy of Policy Inaction in Climate‐Growth Models
ABSTRACT To better understand the structure and core mechanisms of a broad class of climate‐growth models, we study a simplified version of the dynamic integrated model of climate and the economy (DICE) through the lens of growth theory. We analytically show that this model features a continuum of saddle‐point stable steady states.

Time-dependent full-radius integrated modeling of the DTT tokamak main plasma scenarios
We use an integrated modeling workflow with the transport code ASTRA coupled with the quasi-linear transport model TGLF-SAT2, the neoclassical model NCLASS, the FACIT model for the neoclassical impurity transport and the IMEP routines for the pedestal ...

Accounting for the Evolution of China's Production and Trade Patterns
ABSTRACT We study the evolution of China's production and trade patterns during its integration into the global economy. Using firm‐level microdata, we document how production and exports shifted across industries and within industries across firms.

ESTIMATION OF RADIATION LOSS FROM STELLARATORS USING NEOCLASSICAL TRANSPORT THEORY [PDF]
The radiation power loss from a magnetically confined plasma in a stellarator has been calculated using neoclassical particle and energy fluxes in an energy balance equation. We could obtain a power loss of about 34% of the total input power by numerical

Geometry effects on zonal flow dynamics and turbulent transport in optimized stellarators
Global gyrokinetic simulations find a strong suppression of ion temperature gradient (ITG) turbulence by zonal flows in stellarators optimized for neoclassical transport.

Abstract This comparative literature review explores how an expanding body of interdisciplinary post‐growth literature aligns, extends or challenges ecocentric Corporate Sustainability (eCS) research in management (i.e., rooted in systems thinking, emphasising planetary boundaries, ecological limits and embeddedness).

Electron cyclotron heated plasmas in the Helically Symmetric Experiment (HSX) feature strongly peaked electron temperature profiles; central temperatures are 2.5 keV with 100 kW injected power. These measurements, coupled with neoclassical predictions of

In present-day fusion devices, central wave heating is crucial to avoid core tungsten (W) accumulation. In this work, we present an integrated modelling framework that reproduces the reduction of core W peaking in ASDEX Upgrade experiments when multiple ...

Central Bank Digital Currency with Collateral‐Constrained Banks
Abstract We analyze risks to bank intermediation following the introduction of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) competing with commercial bank deposits as households' source of liquidity. We revisit the equivalence of payment systems result, introducing a collateral constraint on banks' borrowing from the central bank.

Lagrangian neoclassical transport theory applied to the region near the magnetic axis
"Neoclassical transport theory around the magnetic axis of a tokamak is studied, in which relatively wide ""potato"" orbits play an important role in transport. Lagrangian formulation of transport theory, which has been investigated to reflect finiteness
