A Preschool Case of Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome: Challenges in Recognition and Care
Staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome (SSSS) is a rare, toxin‐mediated dermatosis in children that can mimic bullous impetigo or other severe blistering disorders. We report a 4‐year‐old boy presenting with fever, erythema, painful skin lesions, and conjunctivitis.
