Myeloproliferative neoplasms patients are at increased risk of thrombotic incidents and are commonly given low-dose aspirin based on mostly retrospective and extrapolated data. In this letter to the editor we have discussed potential role of aspirirn as a oncogenic or protective drug in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms.
