Pathological retinal/choroidal neovascularization drives vision loss in DR and AMD. Current anti‐VEGF injections, while effective, require invasive, frequent administration. Pene/LQ015, is developed a novel topical anti‐VEGFA nanobody formulation achieving therapeutic intraocular levels through penetratin analog‐enhanced delivery.

Advances in Deep Learning Applications for Choroidal Images Analysis: A Narrative Review
Clinical detection and evaluation of the choroid primarily rely on imaging and subsequent image analysis. The application of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly deep learning (DL), in the analysis of choroidal images shows significant potential for improving accuracy and efficiency.

Atypical p38 Kinase Signaling in Retinal Vascular Damage and Recovery
Using an oxygen‐induced retinopathy model, we demonstrate that Tab1‐dependent atypical p38 activation contributes to retinal vascular injury. Genetic blockade of this pathway protects against pathological neovascularization by modulating transcriptional programs.

Neuroretinal hypoxic signaling in a new preclinical murine model for proliferative diabetic retinopathy [PDF]
Diabetic retinopathy (DR) affects approximately one-third of diabetic patients and, if left untreated, progresses to proliferative DR (PDR) with associated vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment, iris neovascularization, glaucoma and irreversible ...

Anti-vascular endothelial growth factor for proliferative diabetic retinopathy. [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) is a complication of diabetic retinopathy that can cause blindness. Although panretinal photocoagulation (PRP) is the treatment of choice for PDR, it has secondary effects that can affect vision.
