Modelling Habitat Suitability and Connectivity for Water Voles (Arvicola amphibius) in Scotland: Insights From Species Distribution and Circuit‐Based Connectivity Analysis

open access: yesMammal Review, Volume 56, Issue 3, September 2026.
We modelled the distribution and landscape connectivity of water vole populations in Scotland using environmental factors. Maps of habitat suitability and connectivity allow us to understand responses of water voles to land cover composition and hydrological features.

Early kit mortality and growth in farmed mink are affected by litter size rather than nest climate

open access: yesAnimal, 2017
We investigated the effects of nest box climate on early mink kit mortality and growth. We hypothesised that litters in warm nest boxes experience less hypothermia-induced mortality and higher growth rates during the 1st week of life. This study included
