Combined Effects of Beetle Density and Sex Ratio on Reproductive Trade‐Offs and Dung Burial in Tunnelling Dung Beetles

Moderate intraspecific density and sex ratio increased brood production in both Onthophagus binodis and Digitonthophagus gazella. Moderate to high numbers of male and female beetles buried the highest amount of dung compared with solitary beetles but produced smaller and lighter broods in both species.
