Comparison of Net Photosynthetic Rate in Leaves of Soybean with Different Yield Levels
The Journal of Northeast Agricultural University, 2012A total of nine soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) cultivars were divided into three yield levels which were planted under the same environmental condition. The net photosynthetic rate was measured by LI-6400 portable photosynthesis system. The chlorophyll content and specific leaf weight were measured with regular methods.

Modelling the net photosynthetic rate of Quercus mongolica stands affected by ambient ozone
Ecological Modelling, 1997Abstract A mathematical model predicting the ambient O3 effect on the photosynthetic rate of Quercus mongolica stands was developed for the temperate deciduous forests in both the urban and the reference area in Korea. The diurnal pattern of hourly average O3 concentration monitored at the study site was simulated using the Gaussian equation.

A kinetic model for estimating net photosynthetic rates of cos lettuce leaves under pulsed light
Photosynthesis Research, 2015Time-averaged net photosynthetic rate (P n) under pulsed light (PL) is known to be affected by the PL frequency and duty ratio, even though the time-averaged photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) is unchanged. This phenomenon can be explained by considering that photosynthetic intermediates (PIs) are pooled during light periods and then consumed by

Net photosynthetic rate of potato at high temperatures
Potato Research, 1990Potato cultivars were grown in a glasshouse and plants periodically transferred to a growth chamber. When the ambient temperature in the growth chamber was raised from 15 to 40°C in steps of 5°C per hour, net photosynthetic rate decreased at temperatures above 20°C. At 40°C the rate was 37% of the rate at 20°C.

The effect of gravity on surface temperature and net photosynthetic rate of plant leaves
Advances in Space Research, 2001To clarify the effects of gravity on heat/gas exchange between plant leaves and the ambient air, the leaf temperatures and net photosynthetic rates of plant leaves were evaluated at 0.01, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 G of 20 seconds each during a parabolic airplane flight.

Diurnal changes in net photosynthetic rate in potato in two environments
Potato Research, 1988Diurnal changes in net photosynthetic rate were measured in a furrow-irrigated potato crop and in a riverbed crop where the water table was always maintained at 20–28 cm from the soil surface. In the irrigated crop, the photosynthetic rate during mid-afternoon was about half the peak rate observed at noon.

The net photosynthetic rate (P N ) and photosynthetic parameters of Juglans hopeiensis Hu were studied by an open gas analysis system (CI-301PS) in the orchard. The results are as follows: (1) the diurnal change of P N in J. hopeiensis had a small significant positive correlation with leaf temperature (TL), stomatal conductance (g s ), photosynthetic ...

Influence of differences in leaf anatomy on net photosynthetic rates of some cultivars of Cassava
Photosynthesis Research, 1984Gas exchange measurements and leaf anatomy of 10 cassava cultivars were conducted to study the interrelationship between the relatively high photosynthetic rates and the factors limiting internal CO2 diffusion. The internal mesophyll surface area per unit leaf surface area (A(mes)/A) and the intracellular components of CO2 diffusion and fixation ...
