Some observations on primary production and plankton biomass along the continental shelf and slope off the northeast coast of India during January 1989 [PDF]
The present study deals with the quantitative aspects of chlorophyll pigments, primary productivity and plankton biomass from the continental shelf and slope off the northeast coast of India between 16° and 20°N latitudes towards the end of northeast ...

This study identifies a new viral mechanism by a viral protein σ3 that functions as a vTR to suppress NF‐κB gene expression via its direct interaction with the host helicase DHX9. Through their interaction, σ3 not only impairs the initial recruitment of Pol II but also affects Pol II pause‐release and ultimately suppresses NF‐κB gene expression ...

Navigating the Ethereal Tightrope: The Nanogenerator Manipulates Neurons for Immune Equilibrium
This review explores how nanogenerators modulate neuroimmune responses, offering innovative strategies for treating neurological disorders. By interfacing with neural pathways, they enable precise control of immune activity, especially via vagus nerve stimulation.

A Terrestrial Ecosystem Carbon Sink Assessment Model Considering Forest Age Dynamics (CEVSA‐AgeD)
The large variation in net ecosystem productivity (NEP) with forest age was dominated by the dynamics of net primary productivity (NPP)–which in turn was determined by the different response slopes of gross primary productivity (GPP) and autotrophic ...

METTL5 Enables Immune Evasion of Liver Cancer via Chemokine mRNA Translation Regulation
METTL5 reshapes the tumor immune microenvironment through ribosome 18S rRNA m6A modification to regulate the translation of chemokine mRNA. Targeting METTL5‐mediated immunosuppression unleashes anti‐tumor immunity and improves the efficacy of anti‐PD‐1 therapy.

Endocytic Control of Cell‐Autonomous and Non‐Cell‐Autonomous Functions of p53
NUMB Ex3‐containing isoforms localize to the plasma membrane, where they recruit p53 through SNX9 and direct it to multivesicular bodies and exosomes. Exported p53 is taken up by neighboring cells and activates nuclear programs, revealing an intercellular, exosome‐based pathway that might help establish a tumor‐suppressive microenvironment.

The impact of hurricane strikes on local cropland productivity: Evidence from the Carribean [PDF]
We empirically estimate the impact of hurricane strikes on local crop productivity in the Caribbean region. To this end we first identify local cropland at 1km2 geographical units via Global Land Cover data. We then employ a windfield model combined with

By integrating biomechanical and epigenetic cues, the evolutionarily conserved TPM1 super‐enhancer drives myogenesis via TEAD4‐mediated chromatin looping. This mechanism produces species‐specific outputs (linear TPM1 mRNA in mice and CircTPM1 in bovine) that activate PI3K/AKT mechanotransduction and the MYH10/MYL3 axis to execute cytoskeletal ...
