Net Radiation Climate of India
A formula has been derived for computing net radiation using (1) radiation received outside the earth’s atmosphere, (2) actual duration of bright, sunshine and (3) maximum possible duration of bright sunshine, Computed values and actual recorded values are shown to be generally in good agreement for Poona and Calcutta, for which recorded values are ...

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for

The dependence of Net-Radiation on Short-Wave Radiation at Waltair
The constants of the general radiation balance equation suggested by Monteith and Szeicz (1961) are redetermined for the tropical latitude station, waltair. The calculated radiation balance equation with new constants for the station is R=0.86(1-a) S-4.2.

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

ABSTRACT As global populations age, cancer is increasingly becoming a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs). Despite accounting for the majority of new cancer cases and deaths, older individuals remain underrepresented in cancer research, clinical guidelines, and health ...

Estimating daily net radiation flux (Rn) using remote sensing technique [PDF]
Daily net radiation (R24n) is key variable in hydrological studies. This study highlight Remote Sensing (Rs) technique for derivation of R24n. Satellite image was used in order to determine spatially distributed information on daily net radiation using ...
