Towards Application of Automated Planning in Urban Traffic Control [PDF]
Advanced urban traffic control systems are often based on feed-back algorithms. For instance, current traffic control systems often operate on the basis of adaptive green phases and flexible co-ordination in road (sub) networks based on measured traffic ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

A traffic engineering system for DiffServ/MPLS networks [PDF]
This thesis presents an approach to traffic engineering that uses DiffServ and MPLS technologies to provide QoS guarantees over an IP network. The specific problem described here is how best to route traffic within the network such that the demands can ...

Remediating anomalous traffic behaviour in future networked environments. [PDF]
The diverse characteristics of network anomalies and the different recovery approaches that can subsequently be employed to remediate their effects, constitute static defence mechanisms tuned at responding to specific abnormalities suboptimal for ...

Robust State Estimation for Maneuvering UAVs: A Set Transformer-Based Adaptive UKF Approach
Reliable state estimation is critical for Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) navigating complex urban environments. However, traditional filters and recent recurrent neural network (RNN) based estimators often fail or exhibit severe lag during aggressive ...

This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.

Some aspects of traffic control and performance evaluation of ATM networks [PDF]
The emerging high-speed Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networks are expected to integrate through statistical multiplexing large numbers of traffic sources having a broad range of statistical characteristics and different Quality of Service (QOS ...

Stochastic user behaviour modelling and network simulation for resource management in cooperation with mobile telecommunications and broadcast networks [PDF]
The latest generations of telecommunications networks have been designed to deliver higher data rates than widely used second generation telecommunications networks, providing flexible communication capabilities that can deliver high quality video images.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.
