Driven by the importance of energy consumption in system-on-chip design as an evaluation factor, this paper presents a design methodology at the system level to optimize power consumption on ARM-based architecture for real-time video processing.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Effects of Permanent Bounded Cyber-Attacks on Networked Control Systems [PDF]
peer reviewedIn this paper, the problem of permanent bounded cyber-attacks on networked control systems is treated. After a characterisation of malicious cyber attacks, the danger of permanent bounded cyber-attacks of two types is proved, the step ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

A Novel Machine Learning Technique for Fault Detection of Pressure Sensor
Pressure transmitters are widely used in the process industry for pressure measurement. The sensing line, a core component of the pressure sensor in the pressure transmitter, significantly impacts the accuracy of the pressure transmitter’s output.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Lowering traffic without sacrificing performance in networked control systems
In Networked Control Systems (NCS), the amount of control data exchanged between sensors, controllers and actuators nodes highly depends on the control performance specifications given to each networked control loop.

Coordinated Control for Networked Multi-Agent Systems [PDF]
Coordination in networked multi-agent systems attracts significant interest in the realm of engineering. Typical examples include formations of unmanned aerial vehicles, automated highway systems, and sensor networks. One common feature for these systems

Control of Networked Dynamical System with Heterogenous Dynamics
Generally speaking, cooperative control of networked dynamical systems can be classified into leaderless coordination and leader-following coordination problems depending on whether or not there is a leader specifying the global information.
