Inhibition of Abnormal Elevated α‐Synuclein Ameliorates Dopaminergic Neuron Degeneration in Parkinson's Disease Mouse Model

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
α‐Syn‐HDOs protect dopaminergic neurons by enhancing BDNF–TrkB signaling through the inhibition of abnormally elevated α‐Syn. These findings position α‐Syn‐HDOs as promising therapeutic candidates for PD and suggest that BDNF may serve as a potential diagnostic biomarker or indicator of treatment efficacy.

TGF‐β1 Directly Sensitizes Capsaicin‐Sensitive Lung Vagal Neurons to Promote Airway Hypersensitivity

open access: yesActa Physiologica, Volume 242, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim Transforming growth factor‐β1 (TGF‐β1) is a pleiotropic cytokine implicated in the pathogenesis of inflammatory airway diseases such as asthma. Airway hypersensitivity (AHS), arising from sensitization of capsaicin‐sensitive lung vagal (CSLV) afferents, is a hallmark of these airway diseases.

Stiffness‐Activated Stellate Cells Drive Pancreatic Cancer Liver Colonization via GMFG‐TNS4 Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 51, 14 September 2026.
Fibrotic liver stiffness activates hepatic stellate cells through Piezo1‐dependent calcium influx and ER stress, promoting EV‐associated GMFG release. Delivered GMFG engages TNS4 in pancreatic cancer cells, triggering FAK/AKT signaling, adhesion, and fatty acid synthesis.

A Hydrogen Sulfide–Releasing Dynamic Hydrogel Modulates Coordinated Neurovascular, Immune, and Angiogenic Responses for Scar‐Suppressed Diabetic Wound Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 53, 24 September 2026.
ROS‐Responsive H2S Hydrogel (HAPPF) Coordinated Regeneration for High‐Quality Diabetic Wound Repair.A self‐regulating dynamic hydrogel is developed to deliver a fluorogenic H2S donor in response to excessive ROS. Released H2S acts as a master regulator to resolve chronic inflammation (M2 polarization), restore VEGF‐driven angiogenesis, and rebalance ...
