Atypical Central Neurocytoma [PDF]
The proliferative potential of central neurocytomas was determined in a biopsy series of 36 cases and compared with clinical outcome. The mean size of the growth fraction, as determined by MIB-1 labeling index (MIB-1 LI) at first biopsy, was 2.8 +/- 2.5 with a range of 0.1 to 8.6%.

Bilateral Cerebral Calcifications in Secondary Fahr's Syndrome. [PDF]
Fahr’s syndrome is a rare, slowly progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterised by bilateral cerebral calcifications, mostly in the basal ganglia. These cerebral calcifications are composed of calcium and phosphate and are the result of disturbances in calcium‐phosphate homeostasis.

A 29-year-old male was admitted with chronic headache on February 26, 1987, when there were no neurological deficits or physical abnormalities. Computed tomographic (CT) scans showed a mixed-density mass with no evidence of calcification in the left lateral ventricle, which was irregularly enhanced by contrast medium.

Quantum Machine Learning Applications to Medical Images: A Survey
In this review paper, we provide an outline of quantum neural networks (QNNs), quantum convolution neural networks (QCNNs) and various hybrid models. We also explore human brain‐inspired quantum neuromorphic computing by the quantum spiking neural networks (QSNN).

LSMEM1, an evolutionarily conserved micropeptide with extreme hydrophobicity (aliphatic index═113) and dynamic amphiphilicity (GRAVY═0.017), features a strong α‐helical transmembrane anchor (residues 64‐86). Single‐cell analysis reveals its critical role in renal lipid homeostasis.

CCDC26, CDKN2BAS, RTEL1 and TERT Polymorphisms in pediatric brain tumor susceptibility [PDF]
The role of genetic polymorphisms in pediatric brain tumor (PBT) etiology is poorly understood. In this study, we tested the hypothesis that single nucleotide polymorphisms identified by genome-wide association studies on adult glioma are also associated
