The origin and functional heterogeneity of pericytes in glioblastoma (GBM) remain unclear. This study identifies tumor‐originated pericytes (T‐PCs) and normal‐originated pericytes as two distinctive populations in human GBM using single‐cell RNA‐sequencing.

Genitoplasty in newborn females with adrenogenital syndrome : focus on the reconstruction technique and its outcomes [PDF]
The adrenogenital syndrome is an autosomal recessive disorder in which an enzyme defect in the steroid pathway leads to excessive prenatal exposure of androgens. In the female fetus, masculinization of the external genitalia is observed. Surgery aims for

The authors develop mouse models by mimicking peripheral vascular diseases, combining multiple strategies and transgenic mouse lines, to demonstrate that ECs, but not macrophages or SMCs, play an active role mediated by endothelial ET‐1/neural ETAR signaling and beyond endothelial homeostatic angiocrine by driving protective pain through the ...

Low‐coherence holotomography reveals that disordered nanowire substrates guide astrocyte morphology toward branched, in vivo–like star‐shaped morphology, emphasizing the role of biophysical cues in shaping neural cell behavior. The developed nanostructured platform offers a new route to study astrocytes for neurobiology studies. Abstract Astrocytes are

Nanoscopic Mapping of the Extracellular Space in Amyloid Plaque‐rich Cortex
The extracellular space and diffusion around amyloid plaques are examined using shadow imaging and single‐particle tracking. Increased diffusivity is found near plaques, extracellular matrix alterations, and plaque core penetrability that varies with amyloid phenotype.
