A study on the oscillation of second-order neutral differential equations in noncanonical form
This paper analyzes the oscillation of the second-order neutral differential equation in noncanonical form \[ \left[r(t)\left(\left(x(t)+p(t)x(\pi(t))\right)^{\prime}\right)^{\alpha}\right]^{\prime} + k(t)x^{\beta}(\eta(t))=0.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Spectroscopic Measurement of Hydrogen Atom Density in a Plasma Produced with 28 GHz ECH in QUEST
The spatial distribution of the hydrogen atom density was evaluated in a spherical tokamak (ST) plasma sustained only with 28 GHz electron cyclotron heating (ECH). The radially resolved Hδ emissivity was measured using multiple viewing chord spectroscopy

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Dynamics of non-neutral plasmas [PDF]
In this paper the focus is on the dynamics of two-dimensional cylindrical non-neutral plasmas. After reviewing some highlights of the non-neutral plasma dynamics, some recent two-dimensional results are described: vortex dynamics, diocotron instabilities

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
