High power beams for neutral injection heating

Vacuum, 1984
Abstract High power neutral beams are commonly used for the heating of magnetically confined plasmas in the fusion programme throughout the world. These beams are generated by the acceleration of multi-ampere beams of positive ions extracted from large area ion sources.
