Stability analysis of fractional-order quaternion-valued neural networks with multiple delays and parameter uncertainties

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
This paper proposes a fractional-order quaternion-valued neural network (FOQVNN) model with dual proportional delays, neutral delays, and parameter uncertainties.

Multifunctional Microstructured Surfaces by Microcontact Printing of Reactive Microgels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Reactive poly(N‐vinylcaprolactam‐co‐glycidyl methacrylate) microgels are used as functional inks to create surface‐grafted arrays on glass via microcontact printing. The patterns (10–50 µm widths and spacings) enable stable binding and post‐functionalization with dyes and peptides.

Stability of neutral equations with constant time delays [PDF]

open access: yes
A method was developed for determining the stability of a scalar neutral equation with constant coefficients and constant time delays. A neutral equation is basically a differential equation in which the highest derivative appears both with and without a

Oscillation of nonlinear second-order neutral delay differential equations

open access: yes, 2017
By using a couple of Riccati substitutions, we establish several new oscillation criteria for a class of second-order nonlinear neutral delay differential equations.

Unveiling Aggregation‐Induced Singlet Fission in Push–Pull Diketopyrrolopyrrole Water Dispersed Nanoaggregates and Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Aggregates of diketopyrrolopyrrole dipolar and quadrupolar systems exhibit panchromatic absorption spectra extending in the entire visible range. Upon aggregation in water and in the solid state, their fluorescence is almost completely quenched and their singlet excited state lifetime is significantly shortened.

Improved conditions for neutral delay systems with novel inequalities

open access: yes, 2017
This paper studies the stability problem of a class of neutral delay systems. It firstly establishes two novel integral inequalities, which are better than the same type inequalities found in the literature. Then it derives, by using the new inequalities

The Dynamics of Interfacial Trap States in High‐Detectivity Near‐Infrared Photomultiplication Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Photomultiplication organic photodetectors (PM OPDs) are an attractive strategy for health‐monitoring. Here, PM‐OPDs are reported with a specific detectivity of 5.7 × 1012 Jones and external quantum efficiency values of 3500% under −10 V. The dynamics of carrier trapping in these devices are elucidated through trap selective spectroscopical techniques.

On Neutral Functional–Differential Equations with Proportional Delays

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1997
The paper deals with the well-posedness of the initial value problem for the neutral functional-differential equation \[ y'(t)= ay(t)+ \sum_{i=1}^\infty b_iy(q_it)+ \sum_{i=1}^\infty cy'(p_it), \qquad t>0, \quad y(0)=y_0 \] and the asymptotic behaviour of its solutions.

‘Oxygen Bound to Magnesium’ as High Voltage Redox Center Causes Sloping of the Potential Profile in Mg‐Doped Layered Oxides for Na‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Na‐ion batteries ‐ Impact of doping on the oxygen redox: The sloping potential of NaMg0.1Ni0.4Mn0.5O2 above 4.0 V is caused by a new redox center (arising from the ‘O bound to Mg’), having a higher potential but being more irreversible compared to the ‘O bound to Ni’.
