Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Oscillatory behavior of second-order nonlinear neutral differential equations

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
We shall consider a class of second-order nonlinear neutral differential equations. Some new oscillation criteria are established by using the Riccati transformation technique. One example is given to show the applicability of the main results.

Oscillatory behaviour of a class of second order Emden-Fowler differential equations with a sublinear neutral term

open access: yesApplied Mathematics in Science and Engineering, 2023
This article is dedicated to the oscillatory properties of a second order Emden-Fowler delay differential equation with a sublinear neutral term. The presented criteria extend and improve several well-known results reported recently in the literature ...

Modified logistic differential equation of neutral type with time delay

open access: yesLietuvos Matematikos Rinkinys, 2003
The following differential equation is considered: N(t) = rN [1 +a( 1 − {N(t)}/K)− {N(t − h) + ρN(t − h)}/K]. The stable periodic solution based on the bifurcation theory of that differential equation is constructed.

Bound states of neutral particles in external electric fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Neutral fermions of spin $\frac 12$ with magnetic moment can interact with electromagnetic fields through nonminimal coupling. The Dirac--Pauli equation for such a fermion coupled to a spherically symmetric or central electric field can be reduced to two

An unexpected alternative viologen electron mediator site in tungsten‐containing formate dehydrogenase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Existence of nonoscillatory solutions of second-order neutral differential equations

open access: yesCumhuriyet Science Journal, 2021
In this study we shall obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions of variable coefficient nonlinear second-order neutral differential equation with distributed deviating arguments. For some different cases of the range of p(

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1494-1512, June 2026.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.
