Periodic Averaging Principle for Neutral Stochastic Delay Differential Equations with Impulses

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
In this paper, we study the periodic averaging principle for neutral stochastic delay differential equations with impulses under non-Lipschitz condition.

The Neutral Stochastic Integrodifferential Equations with Jumps [PDF]

open access: yesChinese Journal of Mathematics, 2016
We study the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for neutral stochastic integrodifferential equations with Poisson jumps under global and local Carathéodory conditions on the coefficients by means of the successive approximation. Furthermore, we give the continuous dependence of solutions on the initial value.

Artificial molecular machines and motors—Design and control of nanoscale motion

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Molecules are constantly moving because of thermal fluctuations, but random motion alone cannot be exploited to perform directional tasks. Artificial molecular machines use chemical, electrical, or light energy to bias this motion. Molecular shuttles, rotary motors, and supramolecular pumps illustrate how nanoscale movement can be controlled and ...

Flow equations in arbitrary signature

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2022
We discuss general bosonic configurations of four-dimensional N=2 supergravity coupled to vector multiplets in (t,s) space-time. The supergravity theories with Euclidean and neutral signature are described by the so-called para-special Kähler geometry ...

Singularity Expansion for a Class of Neutral Equations

open access: yesJournal of Integral Equations and Applications, 2007
The authors study the structure of the solutions for a class of singular neutral equations arising from aerofoil model problem. The analysis is based on converting the neutral equation problem to Volterra integral equation of the second kind. It is shown that the solutions of the neutral equation can be decomposed into two parts, with one part being a ...

Oscillation Criteria of Higher-order Neutral Differential Equations with Several Deviating Arguments

open access: yes, 2020
This work is concerned with the oscillatory behavior of solutions of even-order neutral differential equations. By using the technique of Riccati transformation and comparison principles with the second-order differential equations, we obtain a new ...

On oscillatory first order neutral impulsive difference equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
summary:We have established sufficient conditions for oscillation of a class of first order neutral impulsive difference equations with deviating arguments and fixed moments of impulsive ...

Epigenetic silencing of the liver‐specific lncRNA LUNAR promotes liver cancer progression via NOTCH activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

Impulsive partial neutral differential equations

open access: yesApplied Mathematics Letters, 2006
The authors establish conditions for the existence of mild and strong solutions of a partial neutral functional-differential equation with unbounded delay of the form \[ (d/dt)(x(t)+F(t, x_t)) = Ax(t)+G(t, x_t) \] subject to pre-assigned moments of impulse effects.

Gut microbiota alterations in patients with non‐small‐cell lung cancer undergoing chemoradiotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We investigated the impact of concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT) on the gut microbiota in patients with locally advanced non‐small‐cell lung cancer. Overall gut microbiota composition remained largely stable throughout CRT while antibiotic exposure may influence microbial diversity.
