A neutral-point-clamped three-level inverter with small dc-link capacitors is presented in this paper. The inverter requires zero average neutral-point current for stable neutral–point voltage.

Neutral point detection in JET
Fusion Engineering and Design, 2003Abstract This paper presents the results of some dedicated experiments performed on Joint European Torus (JET), and related simulations, that clearly demonstrate the existence in JET of a neutral point (NP) for density limit disruptions. It has been observed that a plasma, specially designed to be set at different vertical equilibrium position ...

Research on balance of neutral-point potential in three level neutral point clamped inverter
IECON 2017 - 43rd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2017This paper studies the balance problems of neutral-point potential in three level neutral-point clamped inverter. Based on double modulation wave pulse control strategy, a new offset voltage algorithm is proposed. This control strategy can completely eliminate the low-frequency fluctuations in neutral-point potential.

Neutral-Point Potential Balancing of a Five-Level Active Neutral-Point-Clamped Inverter
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2013The five-level active neutral-point (NP)-clamped (ANPC) converter is a newly emerging topology which can overcome the drawbacks of traditional NP-clamped and flying-capacitor multilevel converters. This paper presents a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the NP potential balancing issue and demonstrates that the NP potential can be naturally ...

Neutral Points in 138 Protanopes and Deuteranopes
Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1956Neutral points have been found by means of a rotary mixer and Munsell papers, minimizing any dispersion of individual values by individual ocular pigmentations. Determined thus, the Illuminant C values for 39 new (post-Walls-Mathews) protanopes covered a range of 3.7 mμ with the mean at 492.3 mμ, those for 38 new deuteranopes a range of 5.8 mμ with the

A Survey on Neutral-Point-Clamped Inverters
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2010Neutral-point-clamped (NPC) inverters are the most widely used topology of multilevel inverters in high-power applications (several megawatts). This paper presents in a very simple way the basic operation and the most used modulation and control techniques developed to date.

THE "INCIDENT NEUTRAL" POINT IN RETINOSCOPY
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1948When one speaks of the neutral point in retinoscopy, one ordinarily refers to the point where the emergent rays from the patient's eye meet. This may be called the "emergent neutral" point. But there is another neutral point which concerns the incident light and may be called the "incident neutral" point.

Positional Nystagmus Showing Neutral Points
ORL, 2004We encountered patients who had their static direction-changing positional nystagmus canceled at about 20–30° yaw head rotation from the supine position. This nystagmus was also canceled when the head was rotated 180° from this position. We call these head positions neutral points.

Particle Orbits Near a Neutral Point
Space Science Reviews, 1994We study particle trajectories at an X-type neutral point, in the presence of a time-varying electric field. We present consequent distributions of electrons and protons, and suggest that a disturbance propagating through a neutral point may damp by particle acceleration.
