Operation Command Transformation of Synchronized Collaborative Design upon Heterogeneous CAD Systems

open access: yesJournal of Algorithms & Computational Technology, 2013
Operation command transformation is one of key technologies of the synchronized collaborative design upon heterogeneous CAD systems and becomes a significant challenge because of the great difference in the modeling operations and underground data ...

Sensorless Control of Dual-Active-Bridge Converter with Reduced-Order Proportional-Integral Observer

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
When controlling a Dual-Active-Bridge (DAB) DC/DC converter, the high frequency terminal current is usually measured for use in the current feedback controller.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Oscillation of difference systems of the neutral type

open access: yesComputers & Mathematics with Applications, 2007
A class of two-dimensional nonlinear difference equations with time-varying coefficients is considered. Sufficient conditions are given for all solutions to be oscillatory.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Entropy generation analysis and thermal synergy efficiency in the T-shaped micro-kenics

open access: yesHeliyon
In this work, three different twist angles of a micro helical insert in a T-shaped are studied numerically in order to evaluate the laminar steady flow behavior of Newtonian fluid in chaotic geometry. In the geometries under consideration, thermal mixing

On a linear differential system of neutral type [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Australian Mathematical Society. Series A. Pure Mathematics and Statistics, 1986
AbstractThis paper is concerned with the neutral type differential system with derivating arguments. By decomposing the space of initial functions into classes, it is derived that, for each class, the space of corresponding solutions is of finite dimension. The case of common fixed points of the arguments is also studied.

Epigenetic silencing of the liver‐specific lncRNA LUNAR promotes liver cancer progression via NOTCH activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...
