Neutral evolution and turnover over centuries of English word popularity [PDF]
Here we test Neutral models against the evolution of English word frequency and vocabulary at the population scale, as recorded in annual word frequencies from three centuries of English language books. Against these data, we test both static and dynamic predictions of two neutral models, including the relation between corpus size and vocabulary size ...

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

SERT II 1980 extended flight thruster experiments [PDF]
The flight results obtained from mid 1979 through December 1980 are presented. Near continuous solar power in 1979 and 1980 has enabled long periods of thruster endurance testing.

CPT Tests in the Neutral Kaon System by FNAL E773 [PDF]
The FNAL experiment E773 has measured the phases Phi_{+-} = (43.35 +- 0.70 +- 0.79) degree and Phi_{00}-Phi_{+-} = (0.67 +- 0.85 +- 1.1) degree of the CP violating parameters eta_{+-} and eta_{00} in the decay of neutral kaons into two charged or neutral pions. These preliminary results test CPT symmetry and show no evidence for a violation.

CPT and Lorentz Violation in Neutral-Meson Oscillations [PDF]
In this talk, the status of CPT tests with neutral mesons is reviewed in the context of quantum field theory and the Lorentz- and CPT-violating standard-model extension.

Asymptotic properties of neutral type linear systems [PDF]
Exponential stability and solution estimates are investigated for a delay system $$ \dot{x}(t) - A(t)\dot{x}(g(t))=\sum_{k=1}^m B_k(t)x(h_k(t)) $$ of a neutral type, where $A$ and $B_k$ are $n\times n$ bounded matrix functions, and $g, h_k$ are delayed arguments. Stability tests are applicable to a wide class of linear neutral systems with time-varying

This study investigates the impact of Ce and/or Mg on the electrical conductivity (EC) and mechanical properties of AlSi3 cast alloy. It highlights the synergistic effects of Ce and Mg on eutectic Si modification and Mg solute reduction in the Al matrix, resulting in the optimization of EC, strength, and ductility of the alloy.
