Neutrino masses in a two Higgs doublet model with a U(1) gauge symmetry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
General Two Higgs Doublet Models (2HDM) are popular Standard Model extensions but feature flavor changing interactions and lack neutrino masses. We discuss a 2HDM where neutrino masses are generated via type I seesaw and propose an extension where ...

Cosmic Ray Counting Variability From Water‐Cherenkov Detectors as a Proxy of Stratospheric Conditions in Antarctica

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 12, Issue 11, November 2025.
Abstract This work examines atmospheric effects on cosmic ray counts observed by a Water‐Cherenkov detector at the Argentine Antarctic Marambio Station. We analyze the influence of ground‐level barometric pressure and geopotential height at various pressure levels on daily particle rates, finding the strongest association at 100 hPa, linked to ...

Status of direct determination of solar neutrino fluxes after Borexino

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We determine the solar neutrino fluxes from the global analysis of the most up-to-date terrestrial and solar neutrino data including the final results of the three phases of Borexino.

Lepton number violating interactions and their effects on neutrino oscillation experiments

open access: yes, 2000
Mixing between bosons that transform differently under the standard model gauge group, but identically under its unbroken subgroup, can induce interactions that violate the total lepton number. We discuss four-fermion operators that mediate lepton number

Impairments on the Construction of a Cosmic Neutrino Detector in a Romanian Salt Mine

open access: yesNatural Sciences, Volume 5, Issue 4, October 2025.
The modulus of the transfer function of an antenna when boreholed in salt. With red are represented results from the Targu Ocna salt mine and with black‐from Slanic salt mine ABSTRACT Indirect cosmic neutrino detectors utilize dense media to enhance the likelihood of neutrino interactions within the detection volume.

The Ghent Hybrid model in NuWro: a new neutrino single-pion production model in the GeV regime

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Neutrino-induced single-pion production constitutes an essential interaction channel in modern neutrino oscillation experiments, with its products building up a significant fraction of the observable hadronic final states.

Bounds on non-standard interactions of neutrinos from IceCube DeepCore data

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
New physics in neutrino sector can reveal itself via non-standard neutrino in- teractions which can result in modification of the standard picture of neutrino propagation in matter.

Solar neutrinos as probes of neutrino–matter interactions

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2004
Data from solar neutrino and KamLAND experiments have led to a discovery of nonzero neutrino masses. Here we investigate what these data can tell us about neutrino interactions with matter, including the poorly constrained flavor-changing nu_e-nu_tau interactions.

FeCu/MWCNT Nanocomposite with a Broad Microwave Absorption Band and Highly Reduced Radar Cross Section and Farfield

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 11, Issue 15, September 18, 2025.
FeCu bimetallic nanoparticles were synthesized using coprecipitation method. FeCu bimetallic nanoparticles decorated onto the MWCNT's sidewall with different weight ratios to produce novel FeCu/MWCNT nanocomposites. The results showed that a thin nanocomposite exhibited a broad absorption band with coverage of entire frequency bands.

Theory of neutrino fast flavor evolution. Part II. Solutions at the edge of instability

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In dense neutrino environments, such as provided by core-collapse supernovae or neutron-star mergers, neutrino angular distributions may be unstable to collective flavor conversions, whose outcome remains to be fully understood.
