Solar neutrinos and neutrino mixing
Abstract The recent suggestion that mixing of many neutrino types accounts for the solar neutrino puzzle is discussed. We find that in general the suppression due to mixing of k species is by less than a factor k.

Theory of neutrino slow flavor evolution. Part II. Space-time evolution of linear instabilities
Slow flavor evolution (defined as driven by neutrino masses and not necessarily “slow”) is receiving fresh attention in the context of compact astrophysical environments.

Leptogenesis in an SU(5)×A5 golden ratio flavour model
In this paper we discuss a minor modification of a previous SU(5)×A5 flavour model which exhibits at leading order golden ratio mixing and sum rules for the heavy and the light neutrino masses.

Large mixing angles for neutrinos from infrared fixed points
Radiative amplification of neutrino mixing angles may explain the large values required by solar and atmospheric neutrino oscillations. Implementation of such mechanism in the Standard Model and many of its extensions (including the Minimal ...

Type II See-Saw Mechanism, Deviations from Bimaximal Neutrino Mixing and Leptogenesis
A possible interplay of both terms in the type II see-saw formula is illustrated by presenting a novel way to generate deviations from exact bimaximal neutrino mixing. In type II see-saw mechanism with dominance of the non-canonical SU(2)_L triplet term,

FLAVOR SYMMETRIES, NEUTRINO MASSES AND NEUTRINO MIXING
We discuss the neutrino mixing, using the texture 0 mass matrices, which work very well for the quarks. The solar mixing angle is directly linked to the mass ratio of the first two neutrinos. The neutrino masses are hierarchical, but the mass ratios turn out to be much smaller than for quarks. The atmospheric mixing angle is 38°.

Deviations to Tri-Bi-Maximal mixing in the limit of μ − τ symmetry
In the limit of an approximate μ−τ symmetry in the neutrino mass matrix, we explore deviations to the Tri-Bi-Maximal mixing pattern in the neutrino sector.

An apprach to generate large and small leptonic mixing angles
We take up the point of view that Yukawa couplings can be either 0 or 1, and the mass patterns of fermions are generated purely from the structure of the Yukawa matrices.

On neutrino mixing in matter and CP and T violation effects in neutrino oscillations
Aspects of 3-neutrino mixing and oscillations in vacuum and in matter with constant density are investigated working with a real form of the neutrino Hamiltonian.
