Neutrino mixing contribution to the cosmological constant
We show that the non-perturbative vacuum structure associated with neutrino mixing leads to a non-zero contribution to the value of the cosmological constant. Such a contribution comes from the specific nature of the mixing phenomenon.

Abstract The string theory landscape may include a multitude of ultraviolet embeddings of the Standard Model, but identifying these has proven difficult due to the enormous number of available string compactifications. Genetic Algorithms (GAs) represent a powerful class of discrete optimisation techniques that can efficiently deal with the immensity of

Δ(27) family symmetry and neutrino mixing
The observed neutrino mixing, having a near maximal atmospheric neutrino mixing angle and a large solar mixing angle, is close to tri-bi-maximal. This structure may be related to the existence of a discrete non-Abelian family symmetry.

Neutrino mixing with non-zero $\theta_{13}$ and CP violation in the 3-3-1 model based on $A_4$ flavor symmetry [PDF]
We propose a 3-3-1 model with neutral fermions based on A4 flavor symmetry responsible for fermion masses and mixings with non-zero θ13. To get realistic neutrino mixing, we just add a new SU(3)L triplet (ρ) being in 3 under A4.

Solar neutrinos and neutrino mixing
Abstract The recent suggestion that mixing of many neutrino types accounts for the solar neutrino puzzle is discussed. We find that in general the suppression due to mixing of k species is by less than a factor k.

Millimeter‐Wave WISP Search with Coherent Light‐Shining‐Through‐a‐Wall Toward the STAX Project
This research article shows potential of millimeter waves for searching dark photons, one of the candidates of dark matter. By sharing a common reference signal, an excellent temporal coherency is achieved between production and detection of dark photons.

Neutrino masses and flavor mixing [PDF]
We discuss the neutrino oscillations, using texture zero mass matrices for the leptons. The reactor mixing angle θl is calculated. The ratio of the masses of two neutrinos is determined by the solar mixing angle. We can calculate the masses of the three neutrinos: m1 ≈ 0.003 eV , m2 ≈ 0.012 eV , m3 ≈ 0.048 eV .

Constraints on non-unitary neutrino mixing in light of atmospheric and reactor neutrino data
While the origin of neutrino masses remains unknown, several key neutrino mass generation models result in a non-unitary three-neutrino mixing matrix. To put such models to test, the deviations of the mixing matrix from unitarity can be measured directly

Theory of neutrino slow flavor evolution. Part II. Space-time evolution of linear instabilities
Slow flavor evolution (defined as driven by neutrino masses and not necessarily “slow”) is receiving fresh attention in the context of compact astrophysical environments.

In this work, a flavour theory of a neutrino mass model based on A4 symmetry is considered to explain the phenomenology of neutrino mixing. The spontaneous symmetry breaking of A4 symmetry in this model leads to tribimaximal mixing in the neutrino sector
