A Brief Review of the Impact of Neutron Irradiation Damage in Tungsten and Its Alloys
Neutron irradiation poses a substantial challenge in the development and application of tungsten (W) and its alloys, predominantly in the framework of nuclear fusion and fission environments. Although W is well-acknowledged for its unique properties like

Review and critical assessment of dislocation loop analyses on EUROFER 97
The understanding of microstructural defects behavior after neutron irradiation is crucial for assessing the applicability of reduced activation ferritic/martensitic (RAFM) steel EUROFER 97 in future fusion reactors.

Neutron Irradiation Techniques
The He-3 “crisis” has become a fact in the last decade and large scale neutron detectors based on He-3 technologies have become unaffordable. This new He-3 reality has resulted in a major effort worldwide to develop replacement neutron-detector technologies.

This study demonstrates coherent control of 15N nuclear spins coupled to VB−${\text{V}}_{\text{B}}^{-}$ centers in isotope‐enriched hexagonal boron nitride. Selective addressing via spin‐state mixing enables Rabi driving, quantum gates, and coherence times exceeding 10 μs$\umu{\rm s}$.

The anomalous x-ray pulsar 4U 0142+61: a neutron star with a gaseous fallback disk [PDF]
The recent detection of the anomalous X-ray pulsar (AXP) 4U 0142+61 in the mid infrared with the Spitzer Observatory (Wang, Chakrabarty & Kaplan 2006) constitutes the first instance for a disk around an AXP. We show, by analyzing earlier optical and near

Neutrons from Antiproton Irradiation
Background: Radiotherapy with Antiprotons is currently investigated by the AD-4/ACE collaboration. The hypothesis is that the additional energy released from the antiprotons annihilating at the target nuclei can enable a reduced dose in the entry channel of the primary beam. Furthermore an enhanced[for full text, please go to the a.m. URL]

Radioisotopes produced by neutron irradiation of food [PDF]
The use of neutrons for cargo interrogation has the potential to drastically improve threat detection. Previous research has focussed on the production of (24)Na, based on the isotopes produced in pharmaceuticals and medical devices. For both the total activity and the ingestion dose we show that a variety of isotopes contribute and that (24)Na is only

Structural Porosity and Low Mineral Density in Enamel Rods Drive Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation
This study uses advanced imaging modalities on multiple length scales to show that molar‐incisor hypomineralization does not present as a locally homogeneous pathology. Instead, microstructural defects, characterized through non‐mineralized, protein‐rich sheaths and an altered mineral structure in between prism rods, resulting in local differences in ...
