The Age and Origin of Block Deposits in the Victorian Alps, Australia

open access: yesPermafrost and Periglacial Processes, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Large periglacial block deposits are found in the mountains of southeastern Australia. Despite their widespread distribution, their mode of formation and age are poorly understood. These landforms hold considerable potential to shed light on the nature of cooling during glacial periods. In this paper we present a new study of block deposits in

Boron‐10 carriers and their applications in boron neutron capture therapy

open access: yesPrecision Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
Summary of different types of boron drugs. Abstract Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) has emerged as a promising therapeutic modality in cancer treatment, demonstrating the ability to selectively eliminate cancer cells through the 10B(n,α)7Li nuclear reaction with minimal side effects on normal tissues.

Strategies for Assessing Post‐Wildfire Geomorphic Resilience in Semiarid Rivers

open access: yesRiver Research and Applications, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We review and summarize diverse components of a catchment that can be monitored after wildfire to assess the geomorphic resilience of the river corridor in semiarid regions. We distinguish upland portions of river catchments from river corridors.

Laser‐Induced‐Structural Transformation in Ti3CNTx MXene Monitored by Raman Spectroscopy with DFT Insight

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A multi‐wavelength Raman study of microwave‐assisted hydrothermal Ti3CNTx MXene, supported by theoretical calculations, identifies laser‐power thresholds and evaluates its ambient‐condition stability. ABSTRACT MXenes are emerging 2D nanomaterials that have attracted growing attention for their highly tunable atomic structure, composition, and surface ...

Simplified Spray Pyrolysis Synthesis Enabling a Novel Dual‐Doping Strategy for Ultrahigh‐Rate Ni‐Rich Cathode Materials for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A novel concept for simplified Zr‐ and Ti‐co doping in Ni‐rich layered cathode materials via spray pyrolysis was introduced, delivering excellent rate performance. Spray pyrolysis enables the synthesis of Li‐containing precursors and allows for short‐term, low‐temperature calcination.
