Taxonomy of the genus Denierella Kaszab, 1952 (Coleoptera: Meloidae: Epicautini) is evaluated. The following new synonyms and combinations (all from the genus Epicauta Dejean, 1834) are established: Denierella thailandica (Dvořák, 1996) comb. nov. = D. striolata Yang & Ren, 2007 syn. nov.; Denierella emmerichi (Pic, 1934) comb. nov. = D.

New Faunistic Record of Horse Flies (Diptera: Tabanidae) in Turkey
2019Horseflies are known worldwide as important mechanical vectors of virus, bacteria, protozoans and helminthes, which cause diseases in many wild and domestic animals, even human. Tabanidae is representing with 165 species and 13 subspecies in Turkey.

New faunistic records of horse flies (Diptera: Tabanidae) in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Biologica, 2004The faunistic research of horse flies in Bosnia and Herzegovina during 2003 resulted in the recording of 30 species, of which Atylotus loewianus, Tabanus bifarius, T. paradoxus, T. rupium, Heptatoma pellucens, Haematopota pandazisi and H. scutellata are new to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
