Rhinoscleroma in the Western highlands of New Guinea
Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, 1966Abstract An endemic focus of rhinoscleroma in the Western Highlands of New Guinea is reported; 17 cases are presented. The disease has not previously been recorded in New Guinea although it has been well documented in Indonesia (Celebes). A clinical description is outlined which may have slight differences from other rhinoscleromatous areas.
