A New Species of Leptolegniella

A new keratinophilic water mold was found while soil samples were being screened for Actinoplanaceae (Couch, 1955a, 1955b). The meth? ods described by Couch of baiting the water cultures with Liquidambar pollen, Paspalum grass, and hair were used. The mold grew with intramatrical mycelium and produced external zoosporangia and oogonia on the hair. This
