This note presents the first record of the invasive species Nezara viridula in Poland. A single, overwintering specimen was found in the southern part of our country, in the warehouse of one of the building stores in Bielsko-Biała. The role of land and maritime transport in the spreading of this species in Europe is also shortly discussed.

Trichopoda pennipes (Fab.) (Tachinidae) parasitized Nezara viridula (L.) adults (72%) and 4th and 5th instars (19%). It was collected from 8 other hosts in 3 hemipterous families. Trissolcus basalis (Wollaston) (Scelionidae) parasitized 45% of N. viridula egg masses and was collected from 5 other pentatomid hosts.
