Recovering DTW Distance Between Noise Superposed NHPP
2019Unmarked event data is increasingly popular in temporal modeling, containing only the timestamp of each event occurrence without specifying the class or description of the events. A sequence of event is usually modeled as the realization from a latent intensity series.

Software reliability growth analysis: application of NHPP models and its evaluation
Proceedings of Sixth International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering. ISSRE'95, 2002The paper reports the suitability and stability of the NHPP and trend curve software reliability growth models. For evaluating these characteristics, we applied these models to our actual software development projects. The study shows that NHPP model fits our projects well.

Predictive maintenance using FMECA method and NHPP models
International Journal of Services and Operations Management, 2014Most of predictive maintenance technologies are inaccessible to small scale and medium scale industries due to their demanding cost. This paper proposes a predictive maintenance policy using failure mode effect and criticality analysis (FMECA) and non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) models which require minimal use of advanced monitoring ...

Using NHPP to Evaluate QMS Reliability Growth
2019 Annual Reliability and Maintainability Symposium (RAMS), 2019This paper presents how the non-homogeneous Poisson Process (NHPP), based on the Crow-AMSAA model (test-fix-test), can be used to evaluate the reliability of the whole Quality Management System (QMS) and the quality strategies of a business unit, within a certain observed period.

Confidence interval estimation of NHPP-based software reliability models
Proceedings 10th International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (Cat. No.PR00443), 2003Software reliability growth models, such as the non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) models, are frequently used in software reliability prediction. The estimation of parameters in these models is often done by point estimation. However, some numerical problems arise with this approach, and make the actual computation hard, especially for automated ...

Practical extensions to NHPP application in repairable system reliability analysis
Reliability Engineering & System Safety, 2007An overwhelming majority of publications on Nonhomogeneous Poisson Process (NHPP) considers just two monotonic forms of the NHPP's rate of occurrence of failures (ROCOF): the log-linear model the power law model. In this paper, we propose to capitalize on the fact that NHPP's ROCOF formally coincides with the hazard function of the underlying lifetime ...

An adaptive EM algorithm for NHPP software reliability models
2015 Annual Reliability and Maintainability Symposium (RAMS), 2015Non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) software reliability growth models (SRGM) enable several quantitative metrics that can be used to guide important decisions during the software engineering life cycle such as testing resource allocation and release planning. However, many of these SRGM possess complex mathematical forms that make them difficult to
