Pollution indices of heavy metals in agricultural soils irrigated with raw sewage (Meshginshahr, Ardabil) [PDF]
Introduction As a great reservoir of nutrients and pollutants, soil plays an important role in health and socio-ecological sustainability. Soil pollution increases as a result of the entry of heavy metals from operations such as agriculture, urbanization,

Ni-catalyzed asymmetric C-P cross-coupling reaction via Ni(I)/Ni(III) two-electron pathway
Nickel demonstrates excellent performance in C-C or C-X cross-coupling reactions involving a SET process. However, the Ni(I)/Ni(III) two-electron pathway, which does not require light irradiation, is still rare, particularly in the asym-metric version ...

Preparation and temperature cycling reliability of electroless Ni(P) under bump metallization [PDF]
The reliability of electroless Ni(P) under-bump metallization (UBM) was evaluated via temperature cycling and solder bump shear strength tests. Commercial diodes and dummy dies fabricated in-house were used as substrates for the electroless Ni(P) UBM ...

Investigate the electrical and thermoelectric properties of M@C60 where (M=Co, Ni): A DFT study [PDF]
Density functional theory combined with nonequivalent greens function was carried out to study the M@C60 single-molecule junctions between two gold electrodes, where M=Co and Ni.

Occurrence data of nickel in feed and animal exposure assessment
Abstract Nickel (Ni) is a silvery‐white, hard, ductile metal existing in oxidation states; in biological systems, Ni2+ is the prevalent form. All analytical results used to estimate animal dietary exposure were reported as Ni', without providing information on specific chemical species. Considering the data provided by Member states, among FoodEx level

On the nature of Ni⋯Ni interaction in a model dimeric Ni complex
A new dinuclear complex (NiC(5)H(4)SiMe(2)CHCH(2))(2) (2) was prepared by reacting nickelocene derivative [(C(5)H(4)SiMe(2)CH=CH(2))(2)Ni] (1) with methyllithium (MeLi). Good quality crystals were subjected to a high-resolution X-ray measurement. Subsequent multipole refinement yielded accurate description of electron density distribution.

Concurrent arhinia and choanal atresia in a day old male kid
Arhinia is a congenital nasal developmental anomaly that is seldom reported in literature, and espe-cially not reported in domestic animals. This report describes a case of concurrent occurrence of con-genital arhinia and choanal atresia in a day-old ...
