Fate of nickel ion in (II-III) hydroxysulphate green rust synthesized by precipitation and coprecipitation Adsorção de íon níquel em (II-III) green rust hidroxisulfato sintetizado por precipitação e co-precipitação

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Ciência do Solo, 2007
In order to investigate the efficiency of sulfate green rust (GR2) to remove Ni from solution, GR2 samples were synthesized under controlled laboratory conditions.

Investigation of the removal of Ni(II) from aqueous solution using pomelo fruit peel

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Science, Technology and Engineering, 2022
Pomelo fruit peel, an organic waste, was utilised as a biosorbent to remove Ni(II) from aqueous solutions. Some major factors influencing Ni(II) uptake such as pH, adsorption time, and initial Ni(II) concentration were examined.

XAS studies of Ni(I), Ni(II), and Ni(III) complexes [PDF]

open access: yesPhysica B: Condensed Matter, 1995
Abstract XAS techniques for studying structural and electronic changes taking place after oxidation and reduction reactions of nickel complexes are described and applied to selected models for Factor 430, a nickel containing cofactor catalyzing an important step in the conversion of carbon dioxide to methane by methanogenic bacteria.

open access: yesJurnal Riset Kimia, 2015
The selective transport of Ni(II) to Cd(II) through simultaneously liquid membrane technique has been investigated. The cell membrane was made by mixturing Ni(II) and Cd(II) ions at concentration as 3.41x10-4 M and 1.78x10-4 M respectively as source ...

Transition probabilities for [Ni I] and [Ni II] lines [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomy and Astrophysics Supplement Series, 1996
New radiative transition probabilities have been calculated for forbidden lines of astrophysical interest in Ni I and Ni II. The accuracy of the transition probability scales is established on the basis of two independent calculations performed with the approximately relativistic Hartree-Fock and SUPERSTRUCTURE codes.

Nickel incorporation in Fe(II, III) hydroxysulfate Green Rust: effect on crystal lattice spacing and oxidation products Incorporação de níquel em Fe (II-III) Grenn Rust hidroxisulfato: efeito sobre a estrutura cristalina e produtos de oxidação

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Ciência do Solo, 2009
Ni(II)-Fe(II)-Fe(III) layered double hydroxides (LDH) or Ni-containing sulfate green rust (GR2) samples were prepared from Ni(II), Fe(II) and Fe(III) sulfate salts and analyzed with X ray diffraction.

Ni(II) and Co(II) Sensing by Escherichia coli RcnR [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2008
Escherichia coli RcnR and Mycobacterium tuberculosis CsoR are the founding members of a recently identified, large family of bacterial metal-responsive DNA-binding proteins. RcnR controls the expression of the metal efflux protein RcnA only in response to Ni(II) and Co(II) ions.
