Layered NiAl/Cu/NiAl Composite by SHS in a Mode of Frontal Combustion
SHS of layered NiAl/Cu/NiAl composite was studied experimentally and by mathematical modeling with special emphasis on critical conditions for combustion synthesis in (Ni–Al)/Cu/(Ni–Al) compacts. Our results may turn interesting to those engaged in fabrication of functionally graded materials.

This study demonstrates a three‐dimensional heterogeneous bonding approach to fabricate compact TMR sensing units with double junction numbers and improved magnetic performance. Optimized Au─Au bonding and angled etching improve device integrity, noise characteristics, and magnetoresistance.
