Consumption in the time of Internet is characterized by extremely low search costs, leading to increased product diversity (the long tail) and large mainstream products (superstars). In this paper, I show how the mainstream taste can be catered by a niche product, while minority tastes can be mainstream.

Nanoemulsion delivery of a TLR7 agonist enhances safety and promotes colocalization with Leishmania‐infected macrophages in skin lesions, enabling a ∼2‐log reduction in parasite burden. However, tissue‐level constraints and TLR‐driven regulatory feedback generate a mixed immune response that limits complete parasite clearance.

Plasmonic Enhancement of Fluorescence and Protein Dynamics in Living Mammalian Cells
This study demonstrates plasmonic enhancement of the function of fluorescent voltage sensing proteins (genetically encoded voltage indicators, (GEVIs), QuasAr6) in live mammalian cells. Coupling to plasmonic nanoparticles does not just increase fluorescence, but influences the protein photocycle, creating a hybrid sensor with its response speed to ...

Self‐Cooling Molecular Spin Qudits
A material made of [GdEr] molecular dimers can encode a qudit and perform as a magnetic refrigerant. Microwave resonant pulses coherently manipulate its 16 spin states, while direct demagnetization measurements cool the material and a device down to temperatures below 1 K.
