Dynamics in a Competitive Nicholson’s Blowflies Model with Continuous Time Delays
In this study, we examine a competitive Nicholson blowflies model with time-varying coefficients and continuous time delays. In the case of coincidence degree theory, constructing appropriate Lyapunov functionals and using several inequalities, several conditions on the extinction, periodic solution, permanence, and global attractiveness of the system ...

Aspects of non-linear time series analysis [PDF]
Some difficulties of non-linear time series modelling are discussed. The importance of likelihood plots and information matrix calculation is demonstrated. A constructive use of reparametrization is illustrated. Possible non-invertibility of two bilinear

Analysis of Stochastic Nicholson‐Type Delay System under Markovian Switching on Patches
Based on the influence of random environmental perturbations and the patch structure, we propose a stochastic Nicholson‐type delay system under Markovian switching on patches. Existence of a global positive solution is studied. Then, we show ultimate boundedness and estimation of the sample Lyapunov exponent of the solution.

The stability and Hopf bifurcation of the diffusive Nicholson’s blowflies model in spatially heterogeneous environment [PDF]
In this paper, we consider the diffusive Nicholson's blowflies model in spatially heterogeneous environment when the diffusion rate is large. We show that the ratio of the average of the maximum per capita egg production rate to that of the death rate affects the dynamics of the model.

On the Stability and Uniform Persistence of a Discrete Model of Nicholson′s Blowflies
The authors study the behaviour of nonnegative solutions to the difference equation \[ N_{k+ 1}- N_k= - \delta N_k+ pN_{k- i} e^{- aN_{k- i}},\tag{1} \] where \(k\in \mathbb{N}\cup 0\), \(N_i\geq 0\), \(\delta\), \(a\), \(p\) are positive constants. This equation is the discrete analogue of some delay differential equation used to model the dynamics of
