Nickel(II) cyanoborates Ni[BH2(CN)2]2·H2O (1b·H2O), Ni[BH(CN)3]2·0.5H2O (1c·0.5H2O), and Ni[B(CN)4]2·0.5H2O (1d·0.5H2O) were synthesized, and their reactivity with respect to dppeO2 (=1,2-bis-(diphenylphosphinoethane dioxide)), pyNO (=pyridine-N-oxide), dppe (=1,2-bis-(diphenylphosphinoethane), and DMSO (=dimethyl sulfoxide) was examined.

The structure was solved by the Patterson method and suc- cessive Fourier electron density difference maps, and refined by full-matrix least-squares procedures with anisotropic tem- perature factors for all non-H atoms. Abstract The reactions of Na2S2O5 with [Ni2L4Cl2]Cl2, where L = 1, 2-diaminoethane or 1, 2-diaminopropane, yielded hydrogensulphito, [NiL(HSO3)2], complexes. The IR and visible spectra and the magnetic moments of the complexes indicated that they are hexacoordinated where the HSO3 groups act as bidentate chelate ligands.

Cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes with derivatives of picolinic acid - polymorphism in nickel(II) complexes

2007
Cobalt(II) complex with 6-hydroxypicolinic acid and 4-picoline was synthesized. Two pseudopolymorphs of nickel(II) complex with 6-methylpicolinic acid were also prepared. The molecular and crystal structures of prepared compounds were determined.
