Ni Foam-Supported NiMo Catalysts for the HER

ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2022
In the last years, “green hydrogen” fuel had gained a strong relevance due to its potential as friendly-environment energy source to replace fossil fuels. “Green hydrogen” fuel is obtained from water splitting by electrolysis, which can be powered by renewable energy sources, avoiding the emission of CO2 gas as by-product [1]. Particularly, alkaline

Graphene supported NiMo catalyst: A promising novel hydrocracking catalyst

International Journal of Chemical Kinetics, 2020
AbstractThe graphene nanosheet (GNS) is used as a catalyst support for various catalytic reactions. A comprehensive study of functionalized GNS (FGNS)‐supported catalyst for the purpose of hydrocracking (HDC) process provides a guide to exploring the potential applications and discovering their superior properties. In this research, to study the effect

THE HYDROGENATION OF ETHYLBENZENE OVER NANO NiMo CATALYSTS [PDF]

open access: possibleSurface Review and Letters, 2009
The hydrogenation activity and sulfur-tolerant ability of nano- NiMo catalysts prepared by sol–gel method were investigated by hydrogenation of ethylbenzene containing thiophene. The results show that the adding of molybdenum has a profound effect on the structure and the sulfur-tolerant ability of nickel-based catalyst.

Hydrodesulfurization activity of NiMo/TiO2Al2O3 catalysts

Applied Catalysis A: General, 1998
The hydrodesulfurization activities and other physico-chemical properties of NiMo/TiO2Al2O3 catalysts were studied and compared with those of a commercial NiMo/Al2O3 catalyst. The TiO2Al2O3 mixed oxides carrier was prepared by impregnating Al2O3 with an ethanol solution of TiCl4 or an isoproponol solution of Ti(C4H9O)4.
