Acid catalytic properties of reduced tungsten and niobium-tungsten oxides
Tungsten oxide and mixed niobium–tungsten oxides were prepared by calcination of re-precipitated tungsten and niobium precursors. These materials were characterized by N2 physisorption, XRD, XPS, UV–vis and UV Raman spectroscopy and H2-TPR.

BSA addition to physiological solutions enhances resistance of a Zn alloy to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) but reduces its corrosion resistance. Extended surface characterization explains the contrasting influences on corrosion and SCC. Unexpectedly, the alloy suffers transgranular SCC (TGSCC), despite extensive grain boundary precipitation. Thorough

Structural Insights into the Lithium Ion Storage Behaviors of Niobium Tungsten Double Oxides
Niobium-based transitional metal oxides are emerging as promising fast-charging electrodes for lithium-ion batteries. Although various niobium-based double oxides have been investigated (Ti–Nb–O, V–Nb–O, W–Nb–O, Cr–Nb–O, etc.), their underlying structure–

Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.
