Interaction of nitrite with alkali oxides
The structural and electronic properties of nitrite (ONO) and alkali oxides (OX; X = H, Li, Na, K) have been investigated theoretically by performing ab initio calculations in the HF level. These species form alkali-metal nitrates (ONOOX).

Sulfur‐doped graphitized carbon nanofibers act as adaptive catalyst–support platforms, enabling dynamic sulfur‐mediated reconstruction and strong metal–support interactions. This unique behavior enhances catalyst stability and controls reaction pathways, achieving highly selective urea oxidation (∼92% N2) coupled with efficient hydrogen evolution ...

A family of amorphous palladium‐based multi‐component phosphides nanoparticles, synthesized via a robust one‐step wet‐chemical method, overcoming the immiscibility of different elements and the difficulty in forming a stable, disordered structure. When applied in the electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction, these nanocatalysts effectively suppress ...

Dexime: A Selectively Enzyme‐Degradable Hydrogel for Protein Therapeutic Release
A dextrin‐oxime hydrogel (dexime) is produced using ketone or aldehyde modified dextrin and tetra‐oxyamine modified poly(ethylene glycol). The rheological and mechanical properties of dexime are tunable. Dexime is injectable, cytocompatible, hydrolytically stable, and selectively degradable by α‐amylase.
